The NAWI 2014/31/EU Directive, on non-automatic weighing instruments allows manufacturers of this type of equipment to make their products available throughout the European Union, without any intervention by state authorities.
This process opens the door to the sale of non-automatic weighing instruments in 27 countries, with just one approval. To benefit from this open market, the directive requires manufacturers to comply with certain quality requirements related to the way they manage their activities, and a certification body to verify compliance with these requirements.
APCER can assist in the process of obtaining the CE marking of non-automatic weighing instruments, verifying that your organization complies with the requirements of the NAWI Directive. With many years’ experience in European Directives, APCER offers an inclusive service, including ISO 9001 certification when required.
